15 Minute Liver Treats |

Ingredients
1 lb chicken livers
1 cup flour
1 cup corn meal
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Egg
|

Directions
Place
chicken livers and liquid in blender, liquefy. Add egg, mix a minute
more. Pour into bowl. Add flour, corn meal and garlic powder. Mix.
Spray jelly roll pan with Pam. Pour mixture into pan. Bake 15
minutes in 400 degree hot oven. Cut into small squares while still
warm. Keep in freezer to prevent spoilage.

Banana Bites |

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1 egg
1/3 cup mashed ripe banana
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 beef bullion cube dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water
1 tbsp. brown sugar |

Directions
Mix all ingredients until
will blended. Knead for 2 minutes on a floured surface. Roll to 1/4
" thickness. Use a 2 1/2" bone shaped cookie cutter (or any one you
prefer). Bake for 30 minutes in a 300 degrees oven on ungreased
cookie pans.

Peanut Butter Patties |

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup applesauce
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup peanut butter (crunchy works great)
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cup regular flour
1 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup oats |

Directions
Preheat oven to 400
degrees. Mix liquid ingredients together well. Combine the dry
ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the wet mixture into the dry
ingredients bowl and mix thoroughly until smooth. Roll into a ball;
place ball on floured surface. Roll out to 1/2" thickness. Cut into
desired shapes (bone-shaped cookie cutters work great!). Place on
ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 20 minutes; turn off the oven and
leave the biscuits in there for one hour to harden. |

Sunflower Treats |

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
2/3 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/2 cup rice milk |

Directions
In a large bowl, combine
flour, cornmeal, and seeds. Add oil, broth, and rice milk.
Sir to form a firm dough, adding a few tablespoons of water, if
necessary to achieve a smooth texture. Roll out dough on a
floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350
degrees for 30 minutes or until crisp. |

Veggie Vitamin Treats |

Ingredients
6 cups whole wheat flour
3 cups wheat germ
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
3 cups baby food of your choice (green bean and sweet potato are
popular)
9 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 tbsp. dried alfalfa flakes

Directions
In a large bowl, combine
flour, wheat germ, and alfalfa. Stir in broth, baby food, and
oil until well blended. Knead on a lightly floured surface.
Roll to 1/2" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at
375 degrees till firm and dry. |

Dreamsicles |

Ingredients
1 cup yogurt
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup all-natural apple sauce
|
|
Directions
In a large mixing bowl,
combine yogurt, peanut butter, and apple sauce. Mix well to
combine thoroughly. Spoon mixture into the compartments of two
ice cube trays and freeze. Don't forget to let your dog lick
the bowl! |
